Resizing Calendar Web Part???

Asked By sherryberry

I am working on Sharepoint Server 2007 right now. A client wants to
have a small calendar on the right side. However, when I put the web
part in there, the calendar is WAY too big. I do not want to purchase
any alternative calendars and was wondering if anyone knows how to
resize it properly because whenever I try to resize it under modify
shared web part, it is still the same size just that the window is
smaller and you have to scroll in order to see the entire calendar.
Please help!

Resizing Calendar Web Part???

The rendering of the webpart I am fairly certain is controlled by the
style sheets. Have you tried modifying the style sheets to reduce the
font size and table widths? just type MOSS style sheets in Google, you
will find plenty. Anyone else more about this should comment as I
haven't come accross this issue.

SharePoint Calendar

There is a mini calendar available on SharePoint's Calendar list view that apperas under the quicklaunch by default but it is not something that can be used and re-purposed with simple configuration. Nor can modifying the CSS alone control the default gregorian calendar view to be MINI per say. There is way too much in-line code that is rendered to overcome. There is a mini calendar web part available from Bamboo Solutions for $200 which is a small price to pay considering the amount of development that would be involved with attempting this on your own. My $0.02.
