If you have a database backup, restore the DB in the restoration
environment.
Then take a stsadm -o export of the subsite.
restore the website in the production using stsadm -o import
please refer the following.

You will still lose any alerts and personalization that may have been done
to the site. There is no 'easy' way to restore a site.

Where is your trash bin? Can not you restore your files from that?
Daniel A. Galant replied to 12348765 Joy
Sites do not go into the recycle bin. If you do not have a backup you are
out of luck. If you do, it depends on what type of backup you did as to how
you can restore.

Moving to SharePoint - Advice? SharePoint I have had several clients ask about putting their Access database on the web. So I do not think I can put off the inevitable any en-us / library / ee748653.aspx Some resources which give information on how to import the database are: http: / / sharepointmd.blogspot.com / 2010 / 06 / migrating-access-2010-database-to. = html http: / / blog.fpweb.net / microsoft-access-2010-data-integration-with-hosted-sh = arepoint en-us / library / ee748653.aspx Some resources which give information on how to import the database are: http: / / sharepointmd.blogspot.com / 2010 / 06 / migrating-access-2010-database-to.html http: / / blog.fpweb.net / microsoft-access-2010-data-integration-with-hosted-sharepoint-foundation for = 20 $6 you can have 10 laptops out in the field updating the same database. And office 365 + Access is a great way to allow some smartphone or = tablet = 20 built in. This is assuming the workstation is in the same office as the BE database and the user needs remote access when out of the office. Huh. I have not your SmartPhone? I guess there must be a utility out there. Thanks! -paul So = 20 database. Well, I think in the trade papers we hear about cloud computing = offerings = 20 all

When I go to the workspace via the IE interface, I see all the database components - tables, queries, forms, reports, etc. What I do not see is any "overall" application tables and data, but still rich front end (your case) 3) sending up a split database, and CONTINUING to use the standard back end, but the whole thing comes down from tables and data, but still rich front end (your case) 3) sending up a split database, and CONTINUING to use the standard back end, but the whole thing comes down from to open up and be run by the Access 2010 client. Bob once an access database is published - data and other objects - to Sharepoint 2010 - can you talk more about how to their desktop. So, upsizing your tables is STILL different process then that publishing the database. So, if you just want to send up your tables and link them to SharePoint testers have two shortcuts, one to launch the latest beta, one to launch the production database. You have not addressed how to map that system onto Sharepoint distribution of a front distribution and then synching that with Sharepoint? Does Sharepoint see it as a different source database because it is in a different location? If so, that would work, I guess. But one and it will pull the data it requires from the SQL server's configuration database for the farm and start working. (There is a little more to it than that

Create an 'Archive' database in WSS 3.0 SharePoint We are about to introduce WSS 3.0 and have this forum and others that the best way to move a site is to use stsadm -export & -import. What I am not clear on is how to have the Archive as a separate database. The reason for a separate database is that the completed projects have to be kept for ever, and so if everything remains in the 'live' database it will fill up. Could somebody point me to some guidance on a.) Is it best practice to have a 2nd database for archive purposes or is there a better way b.)
