I have a workflow that sends reminders based on a time frame, 0-180 days before an event depending on what the user selects.
However this does not work for recurring events.
Is there a way to do this with SharePoint designer only?

Having trouble with alerts. SharePoint I have set up alerts through Sharepoint to remind producers in my company of license renewals on our Extranet, but it is not working. The alerts are based off of 2 renewal reminders on our system; Expiration date of license - 60 days prior to renewal, Expiration date of license - 30 days prior to renewal. The format of all of these numbers, initial expiration dates and the renewal reminder dates, are considered dates. Currently in Sharepoint, the alert is an Else / if condition. Condition: If Renewal Reminder - 60 days equals Today Action: Email given email address in Extranet system. Why are not these alerts working?
